Hello I am Stan,
I am a young 25 year old aussie who grew up in Perth, Western Australia. I lived in a small town near the hills where i spent my childhood hiking, running, riding and exploring the national parks near my house.
I am a university drop out and 2 failed businesses deep at 25. My parents would say I am stubborn, I would say persistent.
I am a little weird, I have always felt like a bit of an outlier, like I am always searching for something I am great at and trying to prove to myself that I can do anything. I hate doing things half-baked. I am creative and have an eye for details and understand what quality is.
This brand is a project for me, to do something with purpose, of a high quality, something creative that my friends and I can use. To build something to take pride in that will last.
Oberen is a name I derived from a German word, which
is an inflected form of oberer, which means "upper," "top," or "higher". Which in essence carries my thought process for the brand. To go higher, to be top class, to achieve higher quality. To truly take anyone to the upper reaches of any location.
We gave our brand a purpose.
